Our story...
I am a musician, with a love to see others affected and changed by the power of sound. I was visiting friends in Hong Kong, when one of them showed me an instrument I had never seen. She didn't really know how to play it, but because I play many instruments, I was able to experiment and create great sounds from it. It was the travel cajon. We had been talking about how difficult it was to travel in and out of China without lots of scrutiny, and she suggested that I create a "dummy business" using the travel cajon, in order to move about under the guise of a businessman or a musical expert. But I loved the instrument so much, coupled with the desire to move hearts and heal through the power of sound, that I said, "Why does it need to be a 'cover'? Let's do this thing for real!" We got to work immediately, and a few months later, cre8r Music was born. I have since traveled the world, demonstrating this cool little instrument, and even used it in professional recordings. It's an instrument that is easy to travel with (hence the name); it doesn't take up much space in my luggage, and I don't have to be concerned about whether or not I need to check it at the airport. It's been sold in schools, churches, recording studios, and to many individuals who are mesmerized by it's ability to hold it's own in a band setting. My own kids love it too! I hope you get as much joy from creating new sounds as I do.
